Streamline Publishing’s Radio + Television Business Report is pleased to announce the launch of a weekly series of audio podcasts designed to educate and inform radio broadcasting companies on the continued strength of Hispanic-targeted AM and FM radio stations across the United States.
The Hispanic Radio Podcast is a weekly audio broadcast between 6 and 10 minutes in length, designed for busy executives and broadcast professionals who wish to learn more about the U.S. Hispanic audience, and how their company can take advantage of the strong ROI associated with bilingual, bicultural consumers who over-index on a multitude of things — including purchases.
Hosted by Radio + Television Business Report Editor-in-Chief Adam R Jacobson, a noted Hispanic market expert and publisher of the quarterly Hispanic Market Overview report, this English-language series of podcasts includes interviews with members of the radio industry who have seen success with recent launches of Spanish-language radio stations. The series also includes interviews with multicultural marketing and advertising experts, and key communications law attorneys working on behalf of Hispanic broadcasters.
The podcast series is an extension of the annual Hispanic Radio Conference. The 10th annual conference is scheduled for March 12-13, 2019 at the Intercontinental in Doral — minutes from the headquarters of America’s leading Hispanic media companies and a short ride from Miami International Airport, Coral Gables and South Beach.
“This new series of podcasts is the perfect way for a radio station owner who may have a struggling station to consider a whole new opportunity – and the potential ad-dollar growth that comes with it,” notes Deborah Parenti, publisher of Radio Inkand the Radio + Television Business Report. “In less than 10 minutes, executives unaware of the power of Hispanic radio listeners can gain knowledge and understanding that could highly impact their business, and we’re pleased to have Adam Jacobson lead this great audio series. His insight and extensive experience will enable him to recognize and tap significant elements in this fast growing segment of the industry for the audiences.”
Jacobson adds, “From Toledo, Ohio to The Bronx, Hispanics continue to drive population growth. They spend their hard-earned money at businesses big and small and crave in-language and in-culture local media. Radio provides the perfect opportunity for community building, and revenue building, and we’re pleased to provide an informational vehicle designed to capitalize on this untapped growth for AMs and FMs across the U.S.”
